Delightful off grid shepherds hut

Built from scratch by none other than the owners themselves, the dog-friendly Tweedenburn Shepherd's Hut is more than just a labour of love; it’s also a completely off-grid hut powered by solar panels and in an excellent spot for exploring the Scottish Borders. When you’re ready for a kip, there’s a comfortable double bed for two inside the hut. Complete with a woodburning stove. Firepit/ barbecue and gas hob provided in the outdoor kitchen. All utensils provided. The space The main shepherds hut has a cosy double bed area, bench, table, fridge and sink unit. Also has a small wood burning stove which has a cooking ring on top for boiling the kettle. Next we have the mini shepherds hut which has a gas powered shower, composting toilet and sink unit. Also outside there is an outdoor kitchen with a stainless steel work surface to prepare your feasts! Double burning camping stove along with a charcoal bbq that doubles up as a fire pit once finished cooking. If that's not enough why not have a relaxing dip in the wood fired hot tub for 2. Along with all this you have full access to a 3 acre field with lovely Wild flowers, trees and pathways cut around the field to have a wander. Along with this there is a pond area with a bench to sit and relax Other things to note The hut is completely off grid so there is limited access to power supply but there are usb charging points to keep your devices charged up but please limit this at nights to ensure the solar power doesn’t run out. The small fridge can use a lot of power also. In winter months you might want to use the cool box outside.
