A large area combining a queen bed and living room, antique couch, Apple TV, and bistro table. Being in the basement of my bungalow, you will enjoy a private bathroom and separate coded entrance, a kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and kitchen utensils. Pleasantly cool in the summer and winter, while it is heated, is a little cooler than the rest of the house. Free Wi-Fi and a friendly cat. Shared space, if you wish, is my main floor living room and kitchen. The space Large furnished living room/bedroom. Pillow top queen bed, and a huge, aubergine, antique couch (very comfortable to sleep on - Airbnb lists "2 Queen beds", which is inaccurate), Apple TV, chaise lounge, comfortable room for two guests, and a third on the comfy couch if necessary with laptop friendly bistro desk and chairs. There's a mini-fridge / freezer, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and utensils just outside your door. Bedside table, clock radio and lamp. It is a basement room, while it is heated, it is also a few degrees cooler than the rest of the house. Private bathroom, which is separate and apart from the room, around the corner from the bedroom. Private, side-door entrance. There is a small latch lock on the basement bedroom door. No lock exists on the barn door to the bathroom. The upstairs door to my quarters is always locked at night. Please bring slippers to walk to the bathroom. Free parking directly across the road. Guest access Separate entry to this private, large living room/bedroom, and private bathroom in the basement. There's a personal use mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and utensils. Please bring slippers to walk to the bathroom. Quiet backyard, summer gazebo and chairs, minutes walk or drive to town, bus stop five yards from the front door. Please feel free to unload/load your vehicle in the single lane driveway, and utilize free, overnight parking in the playground parking lot or church directly across the road. During your stay I enjoy speaking conversational (rusty) French and am fluent in Spanish. I have travelled extensively and have lived in Mexico, Jamaica, California and France. Tea and coffee is available. I am also available to pick you up and drop you off at the local airport. Other things to note There are plenty of lakes to fish, both ice fishing and natural. Two beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and Mount Dufour seasonally open for skiing. Cross-country skiing, hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails.
