Efficiency Apartment behind a restored house. Property is nestled on the corner in a quiet historic neighborhood, in a central part of this sleepy little town. Inside you will find a 1 bed Casita, equipped with the basics you need. Less than a mile from Cole Park on water which has fishing pier & concerts in summer. 1 minute from HEB grocery store, & 1 min in other direction to several amazing local restaurants. 1.7 miles from McGee beach & downtown area! Please read all details before booking! The space This guest house with no frills for those looking for a great deal! It is a casita behind the main house pictured. We just had a sidewalk installed Feb 2026! The guesthouse has keyless entry w/ keypad around deadbolt. We send the code w/ instructions the day before your arrival. The space is one room around 600 sq ft which comes furnished and includes a/c and free wi-fi. The guesthouse includes a queen bed with a brand new firm 10 inch Memory foam mattress. Next to bed you can find a dresser w/drawers and a nightstand. Includes ceiling fan and light, along with a bedside lamp. Along with the one queen bed that can sleep 2 adults, there is an additional 22 inch tall queen air mattress in closet with built in pump & usb charger that is available to use and can sleep 2 individuals along with a two sofas that will sleep 2 individuals. (Please let us know if you plan to use air mattress or couch for sleeping so we can prepare extra sheets, blankets, and pillows). The guest house includes small bathroom with sink, toilet, and stand up shower. The guest house has a kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a sink along with small fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. There will be some basics such as plates, bowls, glasses, utensils. There is a multispace table that can be used as a work table and a dining table. This guest house includes 2 couches and coffee table. There is a TV in the living room w/ Firestick (logged into amazon prime video, and has various other apps to log into), as well as HDMI hookup with cord to plug in your own device(s). There is also an Amazon Alexa device available to stream music. ONLY Street parking is available in front of the house for guesthouse. (The house has 2 driveway spots dedicated to main house not the casita). The front house is a separate 4 bedroom house that can be also rented for additional cost - message to inquire if you cant find link. We are super close to a grocery store as well many local restaurants. You can find my recommendations under host guidebook in the “Where you’ll be” section. Guest access You are able to access the guest house (casita) behind the main house, as well as the backyard gated area for the casita. The main backyard and garage is for main house and not available to casita guests. The main house is a separate and can be also rented for additional cost - message to inquire. Pets may use the casita yard ONLY when accompanied by guest. There is also a park within walking distance from the house. Other things to note We charge a small cleaning fee included in price for each booking since we use a cleaning service. Also, the fact that we do not live in Corpus requires us to hire a cleaning service. This includes a cleaning of the casita. sanitization of surfaces, as well as changing all towels and sheets/blankets out for each new guest. All communication with hosts can be done by AirBnb email/messaging system or by text/ cell phone that we provide you so that we may offer a contactless (as in non face-to-face) stay. We rarely see guests since we do not live in Corpus. We do have family in the neighborhood in the event of an urgent need you may have. Feel free to ask for any recommendations. We allow up to 2 pets with a pet cleaning fee that you can select when you book. Please let us know at time of your booking what type of fur baby you will be bringing and their name(s). The property has monthly yard care. There is also scheduled pest control. (NOTE: Road Construction has started on the street adjacent to property and is scheduled to take up to a year. Parts of this road are still accessible, and street in front of house was completed in last few years and there are other roads around that have been redone. During daylight hours you may hear construction). The front house itself was built in 1950, and we have demolished and rebuilt bathrooms in front in early 2024 and working on other upgrades including doing the same for the back casita in fall 2024 by ripping out restroom and making it larger with bigger shower.
