Log Cabin/100 acres/Charming/Wifi-Happy Hound

Come enjoy the quaint Happy Hound log cabin studio in Rudy, AR! The cabin is a real log cabin, queen size bed, living area and full bath! Cabin is set on 100 acres of forest & pasture. The Velvet Rooster, Pampered Peacock and the Cuddly Cow log cabins are also available near this cabin. 1.2 miles to the Frog Bayou for fun water activities on the creek. Approximately 45 minutes to Fayetteville and 20 minutes to Fort Smith. Room for a trailer. Cabin has heat/air, smart tv and a kitchen. The space The Happy Hound will make your heart sing when you walk in. The custom painted 4 poster queen bed sets the charm of the whole cabin. The living room is super comfortable with a cushy side chair and smaller couch nestled up to your ambiance faux fireplace and smart tv. There is a comfortable size dining table that seats two. The kitchen has just what you need to make a meal so you can stay and enjoy the cabin. There is a medium sized refrigerator, propane stove with a cooktop and oven, coffee maker with coffee, toaster and just the items you need to cook. The views and serenity off the front porch will make it so you don't want to leave, and you may even see a few deer come through or one of our several horses grazing in the pasture across the way. We have a paved road up until our driveway and then it is a gravel driveway for about 1,500 feet. There is parking right next to the cabin. If you are in need of bringing a trailer or larger vehicle, let us know and we usually can find you a place to park. The Happy Hound is amongst 4 other cabins. 3 that are also rentals and one that is a work in progress. We don't mind that you smoke, we just ask that it needs to be done outside. Guest access There is a paved road to our gravel driveway. The driveway is approximately 1,500 ft long to the cabins. The Happy Hound has a sign on the side of the cabin to help locate the cabin. You can park right next to the cabin. At 12:15 p.m. on the day of arrival, you will receive an email containing the code for the door and your wifi information. Fireplace is for ambiance only, not heat. It is a faux fireplace. Other things to note We do allow smoking on the property as long as it is done outside of the cabin.
