Nestled in the historic district of quaint Carlisle, this private apartment is a 5 minute walk to Carlisle's downtown restaurants, shops, bars, Dickinson College, and more! Army Heritage Center, Car Show Complex, and Army War College are just a 5 minute drive. A private entrance, kitchen, and bathroom, make it the perfect space to spend a couple of nights and have all the accommodations of home. This is one of our 3 Air Bnbs. We also have The Loft and The Pomfret House! This quaint little apartment offers guests the feeling of being at home while traveling. With an entire private apartment, kitchen included, you will have all the amenities of home while being on the road. With full access to your own kitchen it is the perfect space to feel like you can really settle in. The kitchen is equipped for cooking meals with a stovetop, oven, and microwave. A coffee maker is also supplied. This space is ideal for a single person, or couple, looking to get away for a weekend or someone traveling on business for a couple of days. Located only a block away from the grocery store and pharmacy it is easy to pick up whatever you need for your stay. Our other locations The Loft and The Pomfret House have all of these accommodations as well! Guests will have access to the entire apartment. They will create their own personalized passcode before they arrive. Instructions for using the code pad will be provided before the guests' arrival. We live within walking distance to the apartment so I am more than happy to give guests suggestions and help with directions upon their arrival. Guests are encouraged to contact me with any questions about the apartment or about things to do in Carlisle during their stay! This apartment is located in the heart of Carlisle. Two blocks from the downtown shops, art galleries, Dickinson College, and restaurants, it is the perfect place to get away for the weekend or stay for an extended period of time. With easy access to shopping, the outdoors, & so many close by attractions, it really is the perfect space to get away to. CPYB, Car Show Complex, Army War College, and Army Heritage Center are only each a five minute drive away. Within a half hour you have the state capital Harrisburg, in one direction, and Gettysburg in the other. Hershey Park is also only a 30 minute drive. As far as outdoor activities in the area, they truly are endless. Take a hike on the Appalachian Trail, stroll down the Letort Trail, or drive to Boiling Springs for a walk around the pond. Boiling Springs also offers world class fly fishing and an amazing playhouse, Allenberry. Hiking in the area is abundant as well, especially with Michauex State Forest practically in our backyard. Tumbling Run is our favorite hike. With cascading waterfalls, it really can't be beat. With the heart of Carlisle only a stones throw away and so many activities just outside of town, this town really is the perfect place to get away. Public transportation is not great in Carlisle. We strongly recommend having a vehicle. We do provide WiFi, a Roku, and access to Netflix. We do not however provide cable tv. We have numerous games to play, a full picnic basket setup, books, DVDs, etc.
