A distinctive period cottage in a unique location with tastefully presented interior. This is one of only three cottages built on top of the old Saxon walls in Wareham. Originally there were six cottages, built between the mid and the late 1800s which have now been opened up into three. The cottage is the first one along a gravel footpath and is fronted by the Saxon dyke. The path only goes to the cottages so it is an oasis of peace and calm, yet within two minutes of Wareham town centre. The space To the rear of the cottage there is a lovely cottage style garden. The cottage is a short walk from the River Frome and Wareham's picturesque Quay. The town of Wareham is a market town with street market every Saturday and Farmers market on a Thursday. A short drive will take you to many attractions including the National Trust's Corfe Castle, sandy beaches at Arne, Swanage, Studland or Poole, thousands of acres of nature reserves at Arne or Stoborough, as featured on the BBC's Springwatch series, a delight for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The County town of Dorchester is easily accessible as is the larger town of Bournemouth with seven miles of sandy beaches. 3 bedrooms. F/Floor King with ensuite, twin and single room.
