Located in a peaceful wooded valley alongside the River Lyd yet within walking distance of the village with shop and pubs, Leat Mill Cottage is a stone-built converted barn with a double and single bedroom. A lovely place to relax and centrally located close to Dartmoor and equi-distant from north and south coasts so easy to explore all that Devon & Cornwall have to offer. We have been welcoming visitors to our lovely, peaceful cottage for over 30 years. The space The cottage has a large living room with dining table, woodburner and comfortable reclining settee and armchair. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you could need. The bathroom is situated on the ground floor with a separate shower cubicle. Upstairs there are the two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the other a single, and a separate toilet. There is plenty of outside space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet including a garden beside the river. Parking for two vehicles. Well-behaved dogs are welcome and the area of the garden in front of the cottage is fenced for them. Guest access The cottage and garden are for sole use of the cottage guests. Other things to note Dogs are welcome and we would ask that they are not left alone in the property. There is an enclosed outside space for them as well as plenty of other areas for them to exercise.
