From this 2nd story apartment loft, you can oversee all of downtown Hays, overlook many of the large limestone churches, view the amazing Kansas sunset every evening and sunrise each morning. Within walking distance of 2 parks, convenience stores, the entertainment, arts, dining, shopping, the business district of Downtown Hays and the Hays Bike Trail system. Ideal for the business professional, traveling educator, sportsman and family with kids coming to Hays to play in sporting tournaments. Hunters are welcome! Guests have full access to all the amenities inside of the Chestnut Loft and the outdoor space underneath of the pergola right outside your door. The Chestnut Loft has an electronic keycode that will let you come and go as you please. There is no need for check-in although the Leiker family would love to meet you, get to know you and your family, and help you become familiar with the Hays Downtown District. Our neighborhood is very lively, however the loft is tucked away allowing for relaxation and full privacy. Being located in Downtown Hays, you will have, within walking distance, access to the entertainment, shopping, dining and art district of Hays. By car you are no more than 10 minutes away from any part of Hays! We are located right next to the city Bike Trail system, on the emergency snow routes and 1 property off of the Main Street running right through Downtown Hays. If you enjoy streaming TV remember to bring your app logins! The 50" smart TV comes with the local channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and a few more) but for the full movie or on-demand experience you will need to login to your favorite app. Just remember to log out when your stay comes to an end. The outdoor space is available to guests on the reservation only. Enjoy some time outside whether it is morning coffee or evening relaxation. Please note that any fire features are NOT to be used and this is a shared space with our family.
