This beautiful east Memphis home is in the center of all that Memphis has to offer. Very safe neighborhood around the corner from Elvis’ first Memphis home. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2 half baths and an upstairs loft for the kids with 4 beds and game room. There are two patios, one covered and both have outdoor eating and sitting options with a play set and fire pit. The entire ground floor of the home is available to our guests. This includes 5 bedroom and 3.5 baths, a laundry room, dining room, private backyard, patio dining with dining area and grill. The upstairs playroom has a game room and dorm afire style sleeping with 2 full beds and 2 twin beds. There is also a half bath upstairs. This is a wonderful historic home with beautiful crown mountings, hardwood and brick floors, with updated baths and kitchens. In the heart of Memphis, you are less then 15 minutes to all of the attractions and are in one of the most desirable and safe East Memphis neighborhoods (around the corner from Elvis’ first home he bought for his mother after hitting the charts with Heartbreak Hotel!) There are 4 outdoor areas for smoking - a covered patio with lounge seating and dining seating, an open air fire pit with seating and an open patio with dining seating. There is a playground for the kids. The full downstairs, upstairs and outdoor areas are accessible to our guests. I’m available - I’m usually in town, but have self checkin and want to be out of your way. This will be your home away from home for the duration of your stay. This home is in the stylish heart of East Memphis, behind the Dixon Gallery and Gardens and across from the Memphis Botanical Gardens. All of Memphis’ highest rated restaurants and shopping are in East Memphis, all less than a mile away. Famed Gibson’s Donuts and Corky’s Barbeque are down the street. You are 10-15 minutes from downtown, midtown, Overton Square, and the Memphis International Airport. Renting a car is the best way to get around Memphis, especially with a group. Memphis is very spread out and to take everything in, a car or van is your best bet. Uber and Lyft are both very good here and is usually available within 5-10 minutes.
