Come enjoy this lakefront loft located close to both Acadia National Park on MDI and Schoodic Peninsula. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing and fun Maine getaway. The loft has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower and laundry on the first floor and living area on the second floor. Outside there is a fire pit, grill, and chairs alongside beautiful Webb Pond. Spend the day in the park, the night on the pond. Open for Winter too! The space The loft apartment is located in a converted garage. There is also a cabin on the property that may have guests. It is about 50 feet away from the Loft. Both the cabin and loft can be rented together and found on our listing for "Knotty but Nice". On the first floor of the loft is the laundry, kitchen and bathroom with a shower. The second floor is the main living area which is a large open area with a bed, couch, table/chairs and a TV with DVD player. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, range/oven and sink in the kitchen. We provide plates/utensils/towels/bed sheets and some other accoutrements. The Loft has running water which is drinkable but has a significant salt taste. We provide a water cooler with 5 gallon bottles of water for drinking and cooking. The loft is naturally bright and has a nice view of the lake. Keep the windows opened a bit at night and hear the Loons and the wind blow through the pines. The loft has a Heat Pump which can be used for ample heat or air conditioning. We believe that dogs are part of the family and should come on vacation too (as long as they are well behaved and are cleaned up after). We provide cleanup bags for the pets. This year we are OPEN for WINTER bookings! Since we now have 2 heat pumps in the loft (one downstairs and one upstairs) we can host ice fishermen, snowmobilers or winter lovers at the Pond. Great winter activities await you - ice skating or ice fishing on Webb pond. 8 miles to the downeast sunrise trail for snowmobiling! PLEASE NOTE: The laundry is inside the loft but separated by a door with a lock. It is shared with the cabin unit on the property. Also, the laundry room is under construction. It only needs some paint and molding but no worries, we will not be working on it during your stay. Guest access The loft has parking for 2 vehicles. The cabin next door also has parking for 2 vehicles and the parking area is connected. Entry to the loft is through the front door and laundry. A second interior locking door will lead guests to their private loft apartment. The entire loft is yours, plus the beautiful outdoor location. You will also have your own grill, fire pit, chairs and picnic table. We have a dock out into the lake plus kayaks and fishing gear that you can use during your stay. Dock, kayaks and gear is shared with the other unit. There is another space on this property (Main Cabin) that is listed on Airbnb. If you want more space and the whole property to yourselves, check out our listing "Knotty but Nice". Other things to note We allow well behaved pets. Please clean up after your pets. We now have WiFi access but only provide the access code upon request. Many of our guests like to be unplugged during their stay. Cell phone access is limited unless hooked up to the WiFi. We can get 1-2 bars on the lake side of the cabin which is usually good for calls and limited web browsing. Verizon, AT&T... bad. US Cellular... good. There are Loons, Owls, Osprey but also Mosquitos! It is the Maine woods afterall! Population varies based on weather and time of year. Mid-May through mid-June is usually the buggiest. We provide some deterrents if needed, but you may want to bring your own bug spray.
