Glamping Experience in our handmade cabin with amazing views. You will stay in our two bedroom handmade pine cabin atop Carr Ridge in Ohio’s Appalachian mountain foothills. The cabin sits on six acres that you are free to explore. There are multiple small rock caves and streams. There is electric but no running water. We do have a very clean indoor camp toilet and wash basin. Please pack for this experience as you would when tent camping. The space This is our handcrafted pine cabin and recreational retreat. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. There is electric, overhead lighting and plenty of outlets throughout the cabin. In the winter months, there are 2 electric fireplaces (one downstairs and one in the master) and a portable heat tower. The cabin has a fully functioning camp toilet inside and a wash bowl/basin. We get great Verizon LTE service out there. I can’t speak to other providers but my Verizon signal is strong enough to tether to my laptop and use internet, Netflix, etc. There is a small kitchenette area inside with counter top prep space to prepare food. There is a mini-fridge with a small freezer. Basic utensils are stocked. There is a grill and fire pit outside. We will always leave a few gallons of water and first aid supplies for emergency use — but you are responsible for all items you will need on this trip. We will have a large trash can that we will remove after your visit — but please adhere to a “pack in pack out” mindset as much as possible. Guest access The cabin sits on a six acre property with much of the area wooded. You are free to explore on foot but please leave no trace and no hunting. There are multiple rock caves and streams. You are free to hike and enjoy the nature. Feel free to forage for wild berries or mushrooms — but please don’t abuse it.
