Private room in large Bordeaux house

15 m2 room with adjoining private shower room (4 m2) and adjoining private toilet, ideally located in the Barrière du Médoc sector in Le Bouscat. The room is on the ground floor of a large Bordeaux stone house, completely renovated (double glazing, old parquet floors, moldings). Quiet room and close to all amenities (supermarket, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies...). The "Courbet" tram stop line D is a 4-minute walk away and will take you to Place des Quinconces in 10 minutes! The space Bedroom of 15 m2 with en-suite private bathroom (4 m2) and private attached toilet, ideally located in the Barrière du Médoc in Le Bouscat. The room is on the ground floor of a large Bordeaux stone house, completely renovated (double glazing, old parquet floors, moldings ). Quiet room and close to all amenities (supermarket, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, banks ...). The "Courbet" tram stop for line D is a 4-minute walk away and will take you to Place des Quinconces, in the heart of Bordeaux, in 10 minutes! For those coming by car, parking on our street is paid BUT FREE FROM 6 PM TO 9 AM ON WEEKDAYS AND ON SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND HOLIDAYS. IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO PARK IN A FREE STREET NEARBY (5 min walk). Guest access Access to our kitchen is not allowed: however, IF THE REASON FOR THE STAY IS PROFESSIONAL, we allow the use of our microwave at no extra cost. Guests have access to: - their bedroom (door can be locked but only from the inside). - the private bathroom attached to the bedroom, - the toilet is also private and adjoins the shower room, - the garage (shared space and access room to the accommodation: the entrance is indeed exclusively through the large garage door). In the garage, it is possible to park one or two bikes, one or two electric scooters or a scooter. In the garage, guests will also find a fridge-freezer available for their use. During your stay - Before and/or after booking, you can contact me by message for any questions or clarifications. - For any special requests, please let me know 24 hours in advance so I can get organized (luggage drop-off, early check-in, etc.), bearing in mind that this type of request is accepted only subject to availability. - During your stay, I work in town but I remain reachable via messaging if needed. - As part of a tourist stay, you will find in the room a wealth of information about Bordeaux and its surroundings (maps of the city, museums and monuments, transport, restaurants...). Other things to note - For those coming by car, you will find all the useful information regarding parking in the "My accommodation" tab. The room is located in the municipality of Le Bouscat: Bordeaux city center can be reached by tram in 10 minutes. However, please note that the proposed accommodation is not located in downtown Bordeaux. - Please note that there is no authorized access to our kitchen (except in the case of a business stay, where we allow access to the microwave in our kitchen at no extra charge). -The room, although overlooking the street, is quiet (quiet area and double glazing). -My partner and I work in town but when we are present at home, we are discreet. - No children or pets in the house and no TV in the room. -The key to the accommodation is hand-delivered to you upon arrival so you can come and go as you please and at times that suit you. - The lockbox is only used on rare occasions (if I cannot be available to welcome you, which rarely happens). - The towel dryer in the shower room is not connected: it only serves as a support for towels. - Iron, ironing board and clothes hanger provided free of charge and only upon request. - Laundry service: we can wash your laundry, hang it out, and dry it (air drying) for an additional fee of 12 euros.
