Bumblebee Cottage: 200 Year Old Oak Beamed Home

Copt Heath Cottage is a 200 year old oak beamed house in a quiet cul-de-sac. With tapestries, patchwork quilts and period furniture throughout it is ideal for a cosy getaway for 1-5 people. Our house is run on 100% renewable energy. The cottage is near greenery, a golf course and canals. Right outside there are extensive bus links and it is only 10 minutes walk from the vibrant village centre of Knowle and 10mins drive from the NEC/Airport, it’s not under the flight path though so it’s quiet. Guest access You have the whole house. We ask you not to go into the utility cupboard where we keep stock and tools. Other things to note It's a really old house (in fact it's older than local records so we don't know how old it is, but it's at least 200 years old!) so there are oak beams that you might hit your head on if you’re very tall and there's a very steep original staircase. If you want a travel-lodge style place where everything is perfect and impersonal, this isn't the place for you. All rooms are of course clean and tidy but it's an old, wonky and imperfect house! However, that is also what makes it romantic, homely and cosy.
