Description
Classic early 70's Hollywood building-- this space is furnished for period style with vintage pieces alongside many modern comforts. Wake up in a king bed to a view of the Hollywood sign, setup for remote work from one of two desk areas, and best of all, walk out the front door in any direction and you have West Hollywood, Hollywood, Melrose/Fairfax, Hancock Park -- all so close by. Underground garage parking included but no real need for a car, just an occasional Uber. The space Up on the top floor of this late modern building is this private spot. It's ideal for traveling remote workers with included two separate desks and workspaces-- one desk includes a 27" monitor-- and fast WiFi throughout. In the bedroom is a hotel grade standard king bed. All areas of the unit stay cool on even the hottest days with our adjustable A/C. We love vintage and thrift shopping so had a lot of fun decorating this spot to match the 1970's period of the building. NOTE: The building is not a contemporary Luxury Condo building, it is 50 years old and feels authentic to the time period. Guest access Guests have full use of the space and full privacy. There are elevators that go up to the top floor where this unit is located, and these can be directly accessed from underground parking or from exterior doors to the building. There is also shared laundry close by on the same floor. Keys are stored in a lock box and include the garage door opener to underground parking. Other things to note Santa Monica Boulevard running from West Hollywood to Hollywood is an area of relatively recent gentrification. While many stellar examples of architecture, creative spaces, and hip eateries and shops surround this space, the street level outside has a distinctly urban feel. The neighborhood is generally safe to walk and well lit-- that said, guests should always exercise caution as they would when visiting any big city. Registration Details Exempt
