The House at the Oaks

Your county retreat in quiet Harlem, GA sits on 12 wooded acres. This 2-bedroom home is minutes from Fort Gordon, Augusta National Golf Course, and Augusta. Spend the day visiting the Laurel and Hardy museum and shopping downtown. When done enjoy coffee at one of our two coffee shops. Enjoy the great outdoors hiking in Euchee Creek Park or along the Augusta Canal. Then return home for a stop at our ice cream shop or one of our two coffee shops and relax on the wrap around porch. The space Our home is designed to make you feel like you’re outside. Anywhere you sit you look into flower beds and beautiful woods. Our furnishings are family antiques and collections. We even have the old post office boxes from where we grew up. Bedrooms are located on the second floor and require the use of stairs. Please note: The House at the Oaks is our family’s primary residence. When we host guests, we make the entire home available and prepare it specifically for your stay. You’ll have full access to the house and property, and we work hard to make sure everything is clean, comfortable, and ready for your visit. Owners stay in a private suite with no access to the home during your stay. Other things to note We are happy to arrange visits to any of the farm animals and our vegetable & fruit garden. In season, we’ll even let you pick fresh fruit or gather an egg for breakfast.
