This cozy, stylish, corner condo is a little slice of McCall heaven and has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful retreat after a day of McCall fun. So sorry but no animals or trailers per HOA rules. Free parking for two vehicles. There are safety issues for children under age 6. Wheeee! Winter in McCall! The Meadows is your perfect landing pad for whatever McCall fun means to you! Or, do nothing, and just relax and gaze out at the beautiful meadow. One guest said, "This is a McCall oasis." Another said, "The location was amazing! I felt so far out of town in the beautiful forest and yet we were a few minutes drive into town." There are spot on! (Please note that there is snow in these photos, but may not reflect what is happening at the time you book. Please check the weather!) There are 6 acres of private meadows right outside the back door for a walk in the woods, or, it's only 4 minutes into town where the eateries and shops await. It is 4 minutes to Bear Basin cross country ski trails or 10 minutes to the Brundage Mountain downhill slopes. This two bedroom, two bath, 780 sq foot condo is beautifully 'mountain modern' decorated and well appointed. It is optimal for 2-3 people over age 6, and can still easily fit 4, if you’re friendly! Up the spiral staircase are two bedrooms with comfy queen beds, bedding, comforters and lovely views into the trees or the meadow. If the stairs are a challenge, there is a futon downstairs that sleeps one comfortably. The kitchen is a pleasure to be in. It is cheerful, functional, and has everything needed to make almost anything. All the basics (and then some) are available for your enjoyment. The coffee machine offers fresh grind or pods options. There's also a French press or pour over. There are spices, oils, and four types of hot chocolate! Enjoy quality pots & pans, utensils, sharp knives and dishes. There is even a two drawer air fryer for those that, like me, won't have their fries any other way! Can't live without your smothies? We've got you covered! An indoor fireplace is available, and nothing beats relaxing in front of the fire looking out into the meadow. We try to supply kindling and there is usually some paper/cardboard available as well. (We can't guarantee it being there, depending on how much each guest uses.) Even though you may see wood in some photos, we don't supply wood so you'll want to bring wood and plenty of paper if you plan to have a fire. (Ridley's has the best price for a bundle of firewood AND uses paper bags). Sorry, but the HOA does not permit an outdoor firepit. In the evenings I recommend watching the colors change over the meadow! Then play games around the dining room table or watch the big screen TV with Amazon Prime available for use. Wifi is fast and reliable. There are two set of snowshoes and poles available to use. And a guitar! We've included some chord charts if you want to noodle with learning and a couple of song books as well. Be sure to consult our Guest Book for local recommendations and things to do. No animals are permitted by HOA except for owners. For those who may be allergic, consider that we do have dogs and while we are extremely careful to clean well, it is not impossible that some hair may be present. Before booking please do consider if the stairs are the right 'fit' for you. I love them! I enjoy the 'view' going up and down, and I feel like I'm in a bird's nest or treehouse from the top. Please decide if they will be suitable for everyone in your group prior to booking. The Meadows retreat is a beautiful, peaceful place. I hope you will LOVE it here as much as I do! Private use of the entire condo is yours. I live here with my family part time and there is one cupboard labeled 'owner' so you'll know what are our personal items. Described as McCall's 'best kept secret' this is a small, 13 units only, condo community 1 mile from town, on a deadend road with 5 acres of pines and quaking aspen meadow out the back door. Close enough to absolutely everything, yet far enough away to feel the beauty and privacy. Great walking trail right at the end of the road. Some owners live there full time. Please use only two parking spaces and treat our neighbors as if they were your own. The road to the condo and outdoor parking is plowed and regularly maintained. No chains are required. Two vehicles are permitted. No trailers per HOA rules. Guests over age 6 are welcome and things will go smoothly if you abide by the HOA Rules. No animals, (except for condo owners). 2 parking spaces (no boats/trailers/motorhomes/campers). Quiet hours after 10pm. Turn outdoor lights off at night.
