Guests can enjoy breathtaking views from the wrap-around deck just steps away from the New River. Camp Weldon is located in historic Thurmond, an early 1900s coal-mining boomtown with endless stories to tell, and just minutes away from some of the most popular hiking and biking trails, waterfalls and scenic views. The space Outdoor Living: Private ¼ acre lot, overlook deck, outdoor dining area, charcoal grill, fire pit, outdoor swing with views, direct river access for swimming, boating, paddle boarding, fishing and more! Kitchen: Well-equipped with cooking basics, appliances, utensils, Keurig with coffee to get you started, seating for two Living Room: Open floor plan, Smart TV, DVD player and DVDs, French doors with riverfront views Bedroom: Queen bed with top of the line cool-gel memory foam mattress Bathroom: Full bathroom adjacent to the bedroom with walk-in shower, vanity lighting and window riverfront views General: Linen, towels, AC and Heat, Blow Dryer, Iron Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin and adjacent property. There is side-street parking for two vehicles. Other things to note - Due to its secluded location, WiFi and cable services are beyond reach. Guests will have cellular service, but some carries (such as T-Mobile) have limited service at the cabin . - The cabin gets its water supply from fresh well water. Although it’s great for your skin, some people don’t prefer the sulfur taste. For your convenience, purified drinking water is supplied. - The cabin is not handicap accessible.
