A granite Cornish cottage by a small stream in a residential area with on-road parking. The homely cottage is close to scenic walks and beaches. The shared bathroom is through the living-room and kitchen, so discretion is appreciated. A continental breakfast is served 8-9am. The space PLEASE read the house rules before booking to avoid any disappointment. The Cottage is in the peaceful village of Paul which is a very small, quiet, residential hamlet a few miles from Penzance. There is a bus once an hour most of the day from Paul to Newlyn and Penzance, apart from on Sunday, or 4 times an hour from Mousehole nearby. Public places are the historic church and the village pub opposite it. The Cottage is small and simple, warm in winter and cool in summer. As the stairs are a little steep and it is a generally quiet house, it is unsuitable for children under 12. The bed and mattress are new. Towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels if required. Luggage drop-off and pick-up is only available when the host is on the property. No washing clothes in the bathroom. No outdoor shoes in the house please. The kitchen is a private area and is not shared or used by guests. Guests are kindly requested not to speak on their mobile phones after 23.00. A quiet house, noise travels readily and may disturb others, quiet time in the house is between 23.00 and 07.00. STRICTLY NO FOOD OR DRINK can be brought into their room by the guests for their consumption. Visitors to the guests are not accepted.
