Comfortable beds and plenty of options for lounging greet you after a day exploring the nearby Mohonk Mountain Preserve or eclectic town of New Paltz. Enjoy expansive views of the ridge from the back deck or riverside dock. You won’t even need to leave the property to fill your day. Swim, boat, soak and play in complete privacy right out of the back door. The space The living room features a massive stone fireplace for those intimate, cozy nights that make a vacation and lasting memories. Lounge, read and converse on the porch. Share meals in the dining room or deck, all easily serviced from a fully stocked kitchen. You’ll find five bedrooms all tastefully appointed with quality decor and fresh linens. Two of the bedrooms and a full bath are on the first floor, as is the laundry. Feel free to play ball or have an elaborate picnic in the fields and explore the woods. There are several canoes and kayaks for your use. The river is deep enough for swimming and plenty of good paddling awaits. Enjoy a romantic evening in front of a roaring fire with occasional trips to soak in the outdoor hot tub or together in the oversized soaking tub upstairs. Make a campfire and watch the wildlife along the picturesque banks of the lazy Shawangunk Kill (river). There is also a steam room and sauna in the house to complete all possible winter warming options. Guest access You’ll have complete access to the house and property. Other things to note The property resides along a private road, so please take it slow coming and going.
