This is the perfect vacation getaway in the heart of Crescent Beach. A private 1-bedroom guest suite located in a charming cottage built in 1927. It is steps from the beach, restaurants, ice cream shops, and cafes. Come and enjoy strolling the waterfront trail, beach combing and watching magnificent sunsets. Crescent beach is approximately: - 50-minute drive to downtown Vancouver - 15-minute drive to White Rock - 20-minute drive to US border - 40-minute drive to Vancouver airport The space The guest suite is a self-contained 1-bedroom/1 bathroom unit with a private entrance. It is approximately 650 square feet and has been recently renovated so it’s updated, clean and fresh. It is bright, spacious and has large windows with natural light. The suite is on the lower level of our home and there are 5 steps down upon entry. It’s perfect for a couple or one person. The family room has a comfy sectional sofa and a Smart TV with hundreds of channels on IPTV and free Netflix. There is a small casual dining space as well as a desk in the common area to do some work on your laptop. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances including a full size fridge, stove and dishwasher. It is fully stocked with pots, pans, cutting board, flatware, dishes, bowls, mugs, drinking glasses, and wine glasses. It has a microwave, toaster and a Keurig pod coffee maker with coffee pods included. The bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed with luxury linens. There is a walk-in closet with a stackable washer and dryer. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with a built-in shower bench. There is lots of storage in the vanity for your toiletries. We provide you with luxury towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap. As the cottage was built in 1927, the ceiling height in the suite is lower than average at 6’7” ft, adding to its charm and coziness. There are two lovely outdoor seating areas to enjoy the summer breeze. We have two bicycles available for guest use and ease of travel in our seaside community. Guest access You will have full access to the entire guest suite. There is a small outdoor patio in front of the house. It’s a nice lounge area to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the herons fly above. We also have a lovely outdoor seating area in the backyard for guests to enjoy. You can access the beach path via the backyard gate. Other things to note There is a train track that runs through Crescent Beach with regular train activity.
