Located not far from the road to the Great St. Bernard Pass, many hikes are possible on foot or by mountain bike. Please note, the cabin operates using solar panels, so energy consumption is to be limited 😉 More photos on Insta @cabanedelapierre The space The cabin has two bedrooms, a bathroom and an equipped kitchen open to a living room. The fireplace will allow you to spend a pleasant evening by the fire. For the day, the terrace is equipped with tables, parasols and sun loungers. Guest access Access is via a dirt road from the Great St. Bernard Pass road. If your car is not too low, it is possible to access the cabin directly by car (more easily with an SUV or 4x4 type vehicle). Otherwise, you will have to park in a space by the road and walk about ten minutes to reach the cabin. Access by public transport is also possible, about a 25-minute walk from the nearest stop. Other things to note Alpine hut means alpine 😉 So please respect the animals (cows, marmots, etc.) and in particular make sure to close the fences behind you. It is also important to respect nature and not leave any waste or cigarette butts 🌿
