There is a kayak, a canoe and life jackets available for use during your stay. The space 📍 The Location: Beech Hill Pond is a beautiful, four and a half-mile long, spring-fed lake located in Downeast Maine near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The spring fed pond has crystal clear water which is perfect for swimming, fishing and boating. - 40–50 minutes to Acadia National Park - 15-20 minutes to Ellsworth (local shopping centers) - 45 minutes to Bangor (Bangor International Airport) 🛏 Sleeping Arrangements: Bed 1 - Queen Bed Bed 2- Futon - Full size Additional bedding is readily available for the futon. If you are in need of the additional sleeping space, let us know and we’d be happy to set it up for you prior to your arrival. Bed linens are provided during your stay. A pack n play is available upon request. 🚿 Bathroom One full bathroom with a stand up shower. Bath towels and beach towels are provided during your stay. We make sure to leave a set for each guest listed in your booking, including the dogs. 🍽 Kitchen & Dining There is a well equipped kitchen with a small dining area. There is also an outdoor dining area on the screened in porch with a grill on the exterior deck. A highchair is available upon request. 🏠 Living Area - Open concept floor plan with a private bathroom - Living space with a small tv, futon and additional seating - A heat pump for heating and cooling as desired 🛶 Outdoor Living Step outside and take in the simple living that Maine has to offer. The cabin offers a screened in porch perfect for sipping coffee and a deck for soaking in the sun. There is a small beach walkout area making it easier for guests and pets to access the water. There is a shared water trampoline available. Lawn chairs are available which are perfect for relaxing during the day and cozying up next to the fire pit in the evening. A kayak, canoe and life jackets are provided during your stay. Guest access Guests will have full private access to the property during their stay minus a locked owners shed. Simple self check-in is provided for convenience. Other things to note - The camp road is a dirt road. It is well maintained, but is approximately 7 miles. (You can avoid traveling as far on the dirt road by accessing the house at the south entrance- going through Ellsworth) - Similar too many driveways along the lake, the cabin has a fairly steep gravel driveway. - Non-smoking property - The cabin is rustic and was built in the 1940s.
