The Double Tree Cottage is in an idyllic setting with expansive snow-capped mountain and farm views (seasonal). Mt Hutt Skifield, Opuke Hot Pools, Staveley Iceskating rink, DOC walking tracks and Methven Mt Hutt Village are all within a 15min drive. Located on our 32ha farm, watch sheep grazing metres from your door, native Kereru playing in the trees above you, or head out to many surrounding activities. Note: This is a mini studio style cottage so is very small and priced accordingly. The space The cottage is nestled amongst our garden, surrounded by native trees which are frequented by Kereru (native woodpigeon) and other birds. The cottage has expansive views of the Southern Alps from a large front window. With two rooms, the bed/living/kitchenette area is cosy and has basic cooking facilities (no oven/stove). An expansive bathroom gives you plenty of room for freshening up after a day on the slopes. The patio, with outdoor furniture and BBQ is a great space for winding down and enjoying the view. The Double Tree Cottage is located on our 32ha farm, with animals grazing nearby and you may even spot farm workers in action from the patio. Guest access Double Tree Cottage is located on a working farm. Guests are welcome to explore as long as all gates are left shut. From time to time you may see farm workers going about their day on the tractor or motorbike. Our house is located across the garden. The cottage has plenty of privacy, and we are very quiet so you will not hear us. We like to leave our guests to settle in. If you would like us to be there to welcome you and show you around please let me know. Other things to note Pets allowed by prior approval but must be kept off bed and furniture. A $50 fee will apply if pets have been in the bed. We like to give you your space and privacy for your getaway. If you need anything or have any questions about the area please contact us.
