Villa M Vannes is a 4-star architect's house. Villa M is also the only villa on the waterfront that can be rented in Vannes. It is located at the exit of the port of Vannes and at the very beginning of the Gulf of Morbihan. Unique location, close to the sea and 800 m from the historic centre. Newly renovated, Villa M has a large Jacuzzi in a beautiful garden overlooking the sailboats. Medieval centre and market 800 m away, boat rental 600 m away, boat bus 800 m away. The space Villa M overlooks the port of Vannes. It's an architect house, built by the water. It is located on the left bank, at the exit of the marina, at the very beginning of the Gulf of Morbihan. The villa and its garden were renovated in 2022 and 2023, by an architect and landscaper. Recently we have installed in the garden a red cedar hot tub, which is heated all year round to 38°. It has been designed for 5-6 people. You can lounge in the garden which is totally out of sight. The garden overlooks the water and the port of Vannes, and you will see beautiful sailboats parade there all day. Great location if you want to forget your car, for the holidays, to do everything on foot, by bike or by boat-bus. Thanks to the coastal path, below the garden, you can reach on one side the medieval town of Vannes and its famous market (800m away) and on the other side the pier for the islands (800m away). So every day you can discover a different island and new beaches: Ile-aux-Moines, the island of Arz, Houat, Hoedic ... The coastal path that passes at the foot of the villa is the GR 34, it allows you to take a beautiful hike or bike all around the Gulf of Morbihan. Regarding the beaches close to the house, there are 3 possibilities: - The closest beach is Larmor Gwened beach, bathing at high tide, 5 minutes walk by the coastal path that passes below the house. - Conleau beach is a 10min bike ride by the coastal path as well. - 10 minutes walk you can access the pier for the islands which will allow you every day to discover a new island, and different beaches. The house offers the possibility of sleeping 10 to 12. 5 bedrooms: on the ground floor, one bedroom with double bed 160, bathroom and independent toilet; upstairs, a bathroom, a shower room and an independent toilet, 4 bedrooms including two with double beds in 160 and 2 with each two single beds in 90. The game room offers the possibility of two additional beds in 90 in the English basement. The level of comfort and equipment of the villa has earned it to be classified 4****. Note that on the ground floor there are 2 steps, so the ground floor bedroom is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Amenities: spa/hot tub, Weber BBQ, hammock, sunbeds, garden furniture, ping pong table, foosball, wifi, HD TV.... It is possible to go from the foot of the house by kayaks, to explore the Gulf of Morbihan, when the lock is open. We would be happy to be able to lend our kayak to caring people. Bikes can be rented on the harbor. In the yard, you will be able to park 2 or 3 cars. And in a cul-de-sac 50m away you can also park other cars for free. The house is bordered on the left by a naval workshop. All shops, market and convenience stores in the historic center 800m away. We accept well-behaved dogs. It is a 5-minute drive from Vannes TGV Train Station (taxi via Taxi Vannes). And if you arrive in Vannes by ferry, the villa is 800 m from the ferry terminal.
