Casa Ballena of the Lost Coast sits above little black sands beach in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It is an ocean front property, which makes it a perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. We are located in the unincorporated area of southern Humboldt county. A 45 minute drive to the Redwood State Park & visitor center. Explore and find your adventure!🐋 ***We welcome your fur friends, 2 maximum per stay*** The space Casa Ballena has high ceilings, tons of natural light, and views of the ocean from every room. The bedrooms are spacious, bright, and with an open window, in earshot of the crashing waves on the beach below. Guest access Guests will have complete access to the entire home and back yard. Other things to note The home is an older build with lots of worn areas, especially the wood around windows and exterior doors. Some of the double pane windows have some minor condensation between the glass. Shelter Cove is a tiny hamlet with very few services. We have a small general store with one gas pump and a handful of restaurants. There are a couple of gift stores but no pharmacy. This is the lost coast with one way in and one way out. Please be safe driving in to this beautiful pristine coastal community. We welcome well behaved dogs. 2 or less under 50lbs maximum.
