Enjoy this rustic tiny a-frame immersed in nature. Disconnect & unwind with views of beaver ponds, unique wildlife, and breath-taking sunrises. Only 1 mile from the Cuyuna Lakes Trail Head, you can bike directly from the property. Downtown Crosby is also a short distance away. Best of both worlds! Seated up high, you'll overlook 20+ acres of wetlands, Islands, and trees. This trendy off-grid a-frame provides you with a dry, comfortable place to sleep, grill, hammock, and enjoy time on the patio. About: Welcome to Ironton Island! Here you will find acres of peaceful wildlife, trees, and wetlands. This is a perfect place to relax and unplug in your very own trendy camp a-frame. Just one mile from the Cuyuna Lakes MTN bike trails, we offer a bike-in, bike-out set up. While on the property, you will feel as though you are on an island. There are 3 a-frames on the property with a shared bathroom centrally located. The a-frames are situated facing away from each other and are about 75-100 feet apart. No cleaning fees! We've got the basics, you bring your favorites! Imagine getting ready to go camping and already having a space set up to grill, chill, sleep, & relax in. Forget the set up, tear down, and flat air mattresses! We provide the basic camp amenities (see photos for add. details) you bring your sleeping bag, cooler, and drinking water. What we include in your stay: -a trendy a-frame camp structure with a sun deck -keypad lock on door -2 Adirondack chairs -2 waterproof camp mattresses (no linens provided) -ryobi battery pack and backup battery (to charge electronic devices) -luggage net -mosquito screen -battery powered fan -LED lights -folding indoor table -2 camp stools (for use indoors on a rainy day) -bug spray -grill & propane -grill utensils -smores "poker" -2 sets of silverware -a firepit -access to bathroom, sink, and outdoor shower (water NOT heated) -shampoo, conditioner, body wash -hand soap/sanitizer -toilet paper -garbage bag WARNING: There may be bugs, swans, chipmunks, red-winged black birds, deer, eagles, loons, geese, squirrels, sandhill cranes, deer, and other wildlife. *WE ARE OFF GRID* but also right outside of town. We do our best to let you fully immerse in nature, while enjoying modern day glamping amenities. We designed & built these with the guest in mind to ensure the most comfortable, off-grid stay. The bathroom has a large water tank reservoir to accommodate flushing, washing, and showering in the coolest, off-grid way. No "outhouses" here! NOTE: this water is not drinkable, you must bring your own drinking water. DO NOT book if you do not approve of the following: - wildlife - no electricity - outdoor shower (temps vary) - nature - no heat/ac - unknown weather conditions - conserving water - shared bathhouse space Never camped before? We encourage you to try! This is a great, comfortable experience to get your feet wet. Reach out if you have questions on what to bring. Rain or shine, you can still have a wonderful experience!space Guests each have an assigned cabin to themselves. The bathroom area is shared between guests. You will each have your own firepit, however, there is a larger community firepit down on the point. Important: when entering the driveway, stay left. you will pass another individuals house. This is not our property, we just share the driveway entrance. Willing to meet guests upon arrival or proceed with self check-in instructions. The entrance is just outside of town, however when on the property you will be surrounded by 20+ acres of wildlife and ponds. We share an entrance with an individual that eventually tappers off into our own property. If bringing an approved pet: 1. You agree not to leave the pet unattended in the cabin. It may get too hot for the pet and they may cause damage. 2. You agree to pick up after your pet. 3. You agree not to leave the pet unattended at the property at ANYTIME during your reservation. If you leave, the pet does too. 4. Please reconsider bringing your pet if the weather will reach 90+ degrees during your reservation.
