Elegant independent room in the center of Malfa, sided by a centuries-old olive grove and with a view of the sea and Mount Fossa delle Felci. The room has been renovated in 2021 and combines the charecteristic Aeolian style with comfort and attention to detail. The room is part of a property that has been divided into two double rooms. Thanks to its position, the room enjoys total privacy and tranquility, even though it is just a few steps from the main street of Malfa. The space The room is part of a property which is divided into two double rooms that are connected by a soundproof door (this will of course be locked unless the entire property is rented by the same party). It is also possible on request to rent both double rooms and add an extra single bed. Access to the room is private. You will have a bedroom with a bathroom and a terrace with a view on the olive trees. The house does not have a kitchen. The outdoor spaces are elegantly furnished. Upon your arrival the house will be ready with bed linen, towels and everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The supply of towels and sheets per week is included in the price and can be changed on request with a small surcharge. We also provide on request a cleaning service and room-tidy for a fee. Guest access The room is surrounded by a garden and has private access. The garden has a view of the sea with the islands of Panarea and Stromboli and a view of Mount Fossa delle Felci, the extinct volcano of Salina. The room has two private terraces. The garden and the sunloungers are shared with the other guests. Other things to note The house is located in a pedestrian area not accessible by cars. There are parking spaces for cars and scooters close by. Less than 100m from the house there is the main street and the square of Malfa with bars, restaurants, pharmacy, medical service, car/scooter rental, supermarket, church etc. From the room is possible to reach on foot the beach of Scario with a 10 minutes walk through the beautiful alleys of Malfa. It is possible to book boat excursions of Salina and to the other islands, including Stromboli at night to see the volcanic eruptions by sea. Other private excursions of Salina and the other islands are available, and I would be happy to help you getting contacts. From the port of Santa Marina Salina, it is 20 mins to reach Malfa. These are the following possibilities for arrival: - by taxi: the cost is € 25.00; - by public bus: you can consult the timetables on the website (trasportiisalina). The ticket is issued on board by the driver. The island of Salina can be reached by hydrofoil (libertylines) from the ports of Messina, Milazzo, Palermo and Vibo Valentia. The shortest journey (1h30) is from Milazzo. It is also possible to travel by ship (carontetourist) and transport the car or scooter/motorbike from the ports of Milazzo and Naples.
