Located in Southern Wisconsin’s picturesque Driftless Area, White Oak Savanna Events Farm and Sanctuary is a one-of-a-kind sustainable, organic and eco-friendly retreat featuring the beautifully restored 1920's barn built by Frank Lloyd Wright’s cousin, Charles Lloyd Jones. Overlooking 76 acres of farmland, walking trails, a natural spring pond and organically restored oak savanna prairie, White Oak Savanna and the Norwegian Hollow Farmhouse are the perfect place to relax. Guests are able to hike around the property. Visit our website The farmhouse offers four bedrooms (three rooms with twin beds, one with a queen size bed) and a queen size pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. If you need additional beds we offer comfortable Frontgate air mattresses with frames. There are two newly renovated bathrooms with large showers, pedestal sinks and soft, luxurious towels. The farmhouse is also equipped with a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and various kitchen utensils. We also have a washer and dryer on the first floor for guest use. Dodgeville and surrounding areas offer a variety of things to do including Governor Dodge State Park (which is less than a mile away and offers biking and hiking trails, horseback trails, swimming, canoe and boat rentals, fishing, etc), House on the Rock, Golf, Mineral Point art galleries and antique shopping, New Glarus Brewery and Tour, and American Players Theatre in Spring Green. Located a short car ride from Madison where you will find a host of amazing restaurants, the Saturday Dane County Farmers Market around the State Capital, boating, biking and all kinds of family fun.
