The space Gregory Ain is a Neutra trained architect famous for building Mar Vista’s mid-century houses. This is a one-of-a kind home with more volume than Ain has ever built. You’ll be greeted in the 1st level by an astonishing living space (living room, dining room, bar) with high ceilings and design windows. With a view of the pool area and palm trees, the living space is facing South and offers plenty of natural light all day. The living space has access to the kitchen with chef’s grade equipment. The kitchen leads to the “Kids’ wing” with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a play/TV room. 1 bedroom with twin bunk beds, 1 bedroom with twin bed + drawer bed underneath, 1 bedroom with twin bed. From the entrance you will also access the “Guest wing” with a bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom as well as the office (with full sleeper sofa). Upstairs is the “Main Wing”, so quiet and spacious we call it “the apartment within the house”. It has a comfortable TV room, the main bathroom and main bedroom with a king bed. This 2nd floor also offers weeping views West towards the ocean as well as South where you can see all the way to Palos Verdes. Guest access Guests have full and private access to the house and pool. The garage as well as the studio will be closed for storage. Street parking available without restriction (please park in front of the house - this is the neighborhood policy). Other things to note No parties, the house is in a family friendly neighborhood. The neighbors will call us if there is any loud music played past 10pm or any unusual noise during the day. No outside guests unless pre-approved. Please note that pool heating comes at an extra cost.
