Welcome to the Carriage Barn. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located loft barn apartment. Relax in a quintessential Vermont location close to hiking, skiing, biking, Burlington & all things Vermont has to offer every season. The loft apartment can sleep up to 4 & is an open, two-story concept with full bath/shower & walk in closet. Parking & close to markets, shopping, restaurants, bike path, playground. Take a shower in our outdoor cedar shower or relax in our shared yard space The space The Barn is a 950 square foot open, post and beam rustic apartment with all amenities. On the first floor you find an open, spacious area with a full kitchen, dining and breakfast bar area, living room and workspace. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, range, microwave, Keurig, tea kettle, dishwasher and fridge. The living room has a small sectional (chaise lounge) sofa & two chairs for relaxing & a smart tv. On the second floor you have an open loft with a queen bed, dresser and bedside tables, a separate (open to the queen bedroom) landing with a daybed that converts to a king bed, a walk-in closet and a full bath with soaking tub and shower. High ceilings & spacious. We welcome easy maintenance doggies for your stay. There is a pet fee of $75 per stay that we ask you add in your booking. Please note we have free range chickens roaming (year-round depending on weather) & there is a leash rule in the village in the parks and along the paths & walking trails. Other things to note ***please note our local cell coverage is spotty in the village. Verizon is working to upgrade the tower/signal but unsure of time. It’s a good idea to switch on your Wi-Fi calling in your cell settings while staying. Wi-Fi works great here. We have laundry (washer and dryer) available in the main house. We can prearrange washing and drying for an additional fee and notice. Just let us know when you book what your needs are; there is also a laundromat 1.5 miles from us in the town.
