Relax and enjoy this peaceful home. Located in the lake community of Ambassador Shores. Lake access is about a 1/2 mile to the ramp. Rent a dock or boat (seasonally) at Moutedier Marina. Nolin State Park is close by too. Fishing & hiking in the area. Early mornings & dusk are best times to see our resident deer. Fire-pit in front yard, firewood available. Mammoth Cave & Dinosaur World about 30 miles away. 30 miles to Glendale. About 20 minutes to Leitchfield. The space We are in a rural lake community. 1200 sq ft. + of living space plus a front deck and back porch. You can see people walking on the road, but neighbors are not close. The home is clean & comfortable with a few minor flaws on the countertops & vinyl floors. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths & fully equipped kitchen. Five steps up to the front door. There may be a boat or trailer under the carport but there is still plenty of parking for your vehicles and boat. 1 or 2 small to medium dogs ok; be sure to include the pet fee when booking. Dogs must be on a leash when outdoors. Inquire about dogs over 40lbs. Look for our fur baby basket in the living room. Guest access You have access to the entire home, deck/back porch, and wooded grounds. Private boat docks in the area should not be used by our guests without permission. Owners closet in master bathroom is locked. Carport will have boat parked there during colder months but there is still plenty of parking for your vehicles and boat. Other things to note In the lake area restaurants & stores are not open late, especially during the the off-season, you may want to call before going. Walmart in Leitchfield is about 20 minutes away and open late. We recommend having snacks on hand for midnight cravings. There are TVs in each bedroom & the living room. Use caution with open flames in the fire pit or with the charcoal grill. Keep the water hose close to the open flame. During very dry times of the year, there may be a burn ban issued by the local government. We prefer a 3-day minimum stay for holiday weekends. You will see everything from shacks to beautiful homes on your way to our place. When you are at our place it is far enough from neighbors to enjoy nature and the peaceful surroundings. From November thru May there may be a pontoon parked under the carport.
