Relax, fish, stargaze & enjoy nature at Sturgeon Island A-frame. It sits on 1.5 acres of land and 400ft of shoreline, creating a peaceful & secluded getaway location in Minnesota. It is only 90 min north of Minneapolis and 50 min south of Duluth located on Sturgeon Island on Sturgeon Lake. Fish right from the dock or bring your own boat! Grab a cup of coffee and watch the loons right from the deck, unwind & simply enjoy being in nature at Sturgeon Island A-frame! The space On the main level in the cabin there is a kitchen, 3/4 bathroom, living room, & one bedroom with a queen sized bed. To access the loft there is a steep ladder, when you get up from the ladder there is a queen bed and a loft room that has two twin beds. Newly renovated cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, high speed wifi, Roku TV, Alexa Speaker, private dock, firepit with 6 chairs, propane grill, & free parking. Guest access Guests have full access to the A-frame cabin, dock, and surrounding property with the exception of the bunkhouse and detached garage. There is one paddle board + 2 kayaks for guests to use! Other things to note - The ladder to the loft is steep, guests with young children or limited mobility should be mindful of this. - The loft is an open space(no doors) - The cabin is partially on a wetland with higher than normal water levels. There are cattails, Lilly pads, tall grass, etc. There is not a swimming beach/area on the property. Feel free to bring your own kayaks, canoes, paddle boards to explore the lake! UPDATE: There is one paddle board + 2 kayaks for guests to use in the summer! - There is a security camera facing the deck and parking lot. - 4 wheel drive is recommended in the winter. - Easy access to Soo & Munger trails - Sturgeon Lake is a great fishing lake! One pet is allowed and I charge an additional fee of $75 for cleaning. Please add it to your booking request! Pets are not allowed on any furniture. Please make sure pets have clean paws before letting them enter the house. All pet waste must be cleaned up from the yard before you depart.
