The space Your third floor suite (2 flights steps inside, and steps leading into house) with private bath is located in a beautifully maintained, brick Tudor in a lovely South Hills neighborhood. A 5 minute walk to a charming shopping area with restaurants, coffee, and a neighborhood school park. Free parking and free wi-fi. Public transportation via bus to Downtown is only one block away or enjoy a nice 15 minute walk to the T. The T(Light Rail) is our local mass transit and either T or bus will take you downtown in 10-30 minutes depending on route and time of day. There are additional shops and restaurants within 1/2 mile. Pianists are welcome to use the full-sized grand piano. Perfect for students auditioning for one of the local music schools, your Steeler Weekend or High School Reunion. If you need an extra room or bed when traveling with family or friends, please inquire. Your third floor suite has private bath, queen size bed, a dresser, closet, and small desk with chair for your personal and/or business correspondence, tower fan with ionizer and extra blankets. Your stay includes full breakfast. The newly renovated bathroom includes a spacious, single-sink granite vanity with storage, and a full size tub with shower. Perfect accommodations for College visits to Duquesne University, University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon. Also great accommodations for Pirates, Pens, and Steelers games Visiting and Andy Warhol museum - public transportation from home is easy and quick. Housing - accommodations for Three Rivers Arts Festival. Pittsburgh Convention accommodations. Perfect for a personal retreat stay. Guest access Guests will be given a key to the house to come and go as needed. You will have limited use of the kitchen, there is a counter with coffee/tea makings and snacks. Refrigerator space is available as well as use of Microwave. If more is needed please ask. Your room includes a desk, bed, and dresser. You may use the back room to watch tv, however I only have basic cable. If you enjoy reading or desire to play piano the living room is usually available. During your stay My interaction usually depends upon my guests. I read them as to what they would like. I have had guests who desire their privacy and others who like to visit and hear about the area and city. I respect their choices.
