65 acre rural property with stunning mountain views and an entire house to relax in! 4 spacious bedrooms. The two main bedrooms have electric blankets and all have reading lights. 2 toilets, one inside and one outside. The living room is very spacious with a large modular lounge suite. The space 20 square house is on an elevated position and has bitumen road frontage, and backs onto the Bung Bong State forest. It has verandas on four sides for you to bask in the fabulous views. The front deck has views of Mt Beckworth and you can see the glow of the city of Melbourne on a clear night. The back deck is extended to accommodate a large outdoor setting where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. The main BR has a Queen bed and a built in wardrobe with views of the mountains. The 2nd BR has a Queen bed, clothing rack and room for suitcases. 3rd BR upstairs has a double bed with mountain views. 4th BR upstairs has a single bed and a desk suitable for working. The WIFi works well throughout the house. The bathroom has a double vanity and generous sized shower. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The kitchen has a large fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, gas oven, baking utensils and a stocked pantry. Enjoy a walk around the 4 dams that have an abundance of bird life. You may see cockatoos, superb blue wrens, honey eaters, plovers, wattle birds, thrushes, parrots, magpies, our 2 Guinea fowl, wild ducks, rabbits, and grazing kangaroos. You may even see wedge tail eagles! The property has gold mining history. Gold was discovered in Amherst in the 1850’s. You will see the remains of gold diggings on the property and in the forest. The property and surrounding area is a gold detectors dream and you’re welcome to detect in the forest that backs onto the property! Other things to note Amherst Is an historic location right in the heart of the golden triangle and is close to towns and wineries. Connected to SkyMesh NBN. Unlimited from 12 midnight to 4pm. The Talbot post office, which is 6 kms from the BNB, sells basic food such as bread and milk, takeaway and is open everyday. Take care when walking around the paddocks and the dams due to the uneven rocky ground and rabbit holes. Bring your walking boots!
