This is an amazing condo in one of the best locations in Miami, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, terraces, pharmacies, parks, shops, supermarkets and the recently inaugurated Brickell City Center Mall and its cinemas. To PARK your car you can opt for the valet parking service at the building, which costs $42 per day, without in & out privileges. Your final cost may be around $70/day if you take your car twice a day, since you pay each time you take it out. There are no weekly rates. You pay to Park 1, the company which manages the service. A LESS EXPENSIVE option is that you rent from us a space where you park your car yourself. The cost is $30/day. Parking is at the adjacent lot, less than 200 yards away. Upon arrival you could download your suitcases by the lobby and then you take the car to your parking space. Since our spaces are limited, you should book before arrival. The luxurious Icon Brickell resort in Miami was designed by Philippe Starck, featuring a 28,000-square-foot spa, and fitness center, wet and dry saunas, poolside bar and fireplace, and life-size chess set. It is surrounded by the Miami Circle National Historic Landmark, a small park, and the Miami River. Also Business Center at W Hotel is available. Referred to as the 'Manhattan of the South', Brickell is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and home to many of Miami's top restaurants, shops and places of entertainment. GETTING AROUND METROMOVER everybody rides free on Metromover. This 4.4-mile electrically-powered, fully automated people mover system, connects with Metrorail at Government Center and Brickell stations, and with Metrobus at various locations. Major destinations include the American Airlines Arena, Bayside Market Place, Miami-Dade College. The inner and outer loops, (Omni and Brickell), run from 5 am to midnight, 7 days a week. Trains are frequent. Your closest station: 5th St Station in the Brickell Loop, (continue straight from Icon Brickell, cross the street, continue until you find it). MIAMI TROLLEY (URL HIDDEN) another free option to forget about cars and parking. Trolleys are a green form of alternative transportation, available in Coral Gables and Downtown Miami. They are both aesthetically pleasing, with their golden oldie charm and are environmentally sustainable. There are 6 routes all over Miami. From the W Hotel, there are three you can take within a walking distance: Brickell: will take you to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the winter residence of James Deering that was built between 1914 and 1922 in the Coconut Grove area of Miami. Biscayne: will lead you to the amazing Art & Design District, and the always vibrant Midtown or the Arsht Center, especially if you prefer to attend a show without worrying about parking. Coral Way: that will take you directly to Miracle Mile. This a hal mi. (0.8 km), long section of Coral Way between Le Jeune Rd and Douglas Rd in the city of Coral Gables. It is the main east-west road through the city's downtown central business district, consisting of many shops, financial institutions, restaurants and arts institutions. Crib and high chair available upon request. We also rent other properties: studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom condos in Brickell and Coconut Grove, all the luxe and well maintained. The luxurious Icon Brickell resort in Miami was designed by Philippe Starck, with dramatic views on Biscayne Bay and featuring a magnificent SPA, fitness center, wet and dry saunas. It is surrounded by the Miami Circle National Historic Landmark, a small park, and the Miami River. Referred to as the 'Manhattan of the South', Brickell is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and home to many of Miami's top restaurants, shops and places of entertainment. The Mary Brickell Village, Bayfront Park and Mall, the A. A. Arena and the new PAMM Museum as well as the Frost Science Museum are all at walking distance. A short drive away you can find the Wynwood Art District, Miami Beach, -traditionally acclaimed for its Art Deco’s historic district, nightlife, shops, galleries, restaurants, and sidewalk cafes-, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Seaquarium, the Zoo, Coral Castle, Jungle Island, and a number of museums. Walking distance: For SUPERMARKET: Whole Foods is nearby. No need to drive. Cross the bridge and two more blocks to go. For RESTAURANTS, see our Guest Book, which you will receive in digital after booking (on paper upon arrival). In any case, walk to Mary Brickell Village for dinner, have a drink, see people. For fancy indoor SHOPPING: walk to the new Brickell City Centre for prime retail and fine dining (for complete list, visit website). For OUTDOOR shopping, eating and tourist shops, the Bayside Marketplace, by the water. For PERFORMING ARTS: check the Arsht Center upcoming events. For other events, the American Airlines Arena. For RUNNING OR WALKING: see our Guest Book. In any case, if you come to Brickell, walk or run around Brickell Key. No cars or bicycles allowed. Just a gorgeous and healthy walk or run. For MUSEUMS: the new PAMM, Modern Art, and its environment is worthwhile. Very soon the Frost Museum of Science will open doors (1S 2017). Unmissable. Both at walking distance. Or take the free Metromover. Not walking distance: For ART, go to Wynwood. Take pictures of the over 200 urban graffiti (perhaps take an Art Walk Tour before). Continue to the Design District for high-end shopping and galleries. For BEACHES: South Beach (more urban) or Crandon Park in Key Biscayne (more isolated). That key is a tranquil one and so close to town. The drive is gorgeous. Go to the end of the island, to No Name Harbor to see the yachts. For ART DECO, go to Ocean Drive, at Miami Beach. You will have seen it in so many movies! Once there, go to Lincoln Road, a pedestrian street with tourist shops and non-expensive restaurants. For a LONG DRIVE, go to Key West. We recommend that you spend one night there to avoid a very long drive. Avoid Fridays in your way down or Sundays to come back. To finalize, a paragraph from Wikipedia: “Downtown Miami is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and many large national and international companies. The Civic Center is a major center for hospitals, research institutes, medical centers, and biotechnology industries. For more than two decades, the Port of Miami, known as the "Cruise Capital of the World", has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world. It accommodates some of the world's largest cruise ships and operations, and is the busiest port in both passenger traffic and cruise lines.”
