The loft is one large room with the exception of the small bathroom and shower. Sheets, towels, microwave, toaster oven, frig, electic skillet, Keurig coffee maker, crock pot, 60 inch smart TV. Two large Great Pyrenees dogs on the property, but they are fenced off from the barn area. Plates, glasses, silverware. Coffee, paper plates, paper towels, stevia, sugar, spices, soap, shampoo, are provided for short stays. Guest will need to replenish themselves for longer stays. Guest have access to entire upstairs of barn, the deck, and backyard. Welcome to stretch your legs on the dirt roads. If you initiate conversation, we are friendly and enjoy interaction, but we do not want anyone to feel pressured to interact with us. We both work so will be away frequently in the day, but you can call or text with any questions. I just want you to be aware that, at times, it will be necessary for us to have access to the bottom of the barn to get tools, or do some farm chores, etc. You have the upstairs and deck all to yourself. We may also need to do some work in the pole barn next door for brief amounts of time. Tractor and/or farm equipment will drive by occasionally going to pole barn/feed cows, put out hay, etc. There is a possibility there will be guests staying in the camp house next door. See photos of property. Small farm. Very rural. Peaceful, spacious, quiet......other than occasional train, tractor or truck driving by. Great area for outdoorsman. If you have hunting property or a hunting trip planned but no lodging on the property, this is the perfect place for hunters. Frequently used by people working at the International Paper in Selma & Southern Co. Plant in Autaugaville, hunters, and short family getaways. 16 miles from civil rights landmarks in Selma. 30 miles from Clanton, 33 miles from Prattville. Note that the nearest grocery store is 12 miles, so you may want to stop on the way in to buy groceries, etc. Note that the driveway/road is a gravel road. Must have your own transportation. If you are afraid of dogs or farm animals, this will not be the place for you. High balcony, lots of steps and high deck so children will have to be closely monitored.
