Welcome! This wonderful, six bedroom property is conveniently located in downtown Santa Rosa and serves as an excellent home base if you’re in town for work or just looking to see the sights. We exclusively host for longer stays of a month or longer. The house is a huge old Victorian with quite a lot of history and personality. We were once a social house but, given current circumstances, no parties or events are permitted. The space This listing is for an upstairs bedroom located in our large and historic Victorian home. It comes complete with a full size bed, private closet, first aid kit, personal microwave, and mini fridge. The space is perfect for an individual or couple who are in town to see the sights or someone who’s looking to hunker down and study their life away. Each room is cleaned fully and wiped down with alcohol before each guest comes in. As we clean, we’re sure to wear fresh masks and clean gloves as well as ventilate the room as much as possible, so as to reduce the risk of any cross contamination. Any surface which is likely to be a point of frequent contact, such as light switches or doorknobs, is thoroughly cleansed with alcohol. The mattresses have waterproof mattress covers on them, which are also wiped down with a rubbing alcohol spray. Common areas of the house are also equipped with automatic hand sanitizer stations which are available for everyone. We’re keeping up to date on CDC recommendations and embracing and incorporating any and all changes that are called for in order to keep our guests safe and we welcome your feedback if there’s something you think we could be doing better. We do require our guests to be vaccinated for the safety of everyone in the household. Thank you for understanding. If you’re looking for something to do on your own, there is no shortage of possibilities with this convenient location. We are across the street from a grocery store and the cheapest gas in town and a mere 3 minute drive from every major freeway in the area. It’s a 5 minute walk to downtown Santa Rosa, which offers food, shopping, and movies as well as the infamous Russian River brewery. Guest access As we adjust to the new reality that is our Covid lifestyle, we’ve reduced the amount of shared space within the house and equipped each bedroom with its own private amenities, such as individual kitchenettes, in order to reduce the risk of exposure and protect our guests to the best of our ability. Use of the downstairs kitchen and laundry room are available, but we prefer if our guests schedule time with us before use. We are available to interact as much or as little as each guest prefers, all in accordance with CDC guidelines of course. Other things to note The house is and has always been animal friendly so, if you are allergic to animals, this may not be your best bet :) We often keep irregular schedules, though we try to be respectful of everyone's needs regarding noise and agreed upon quiet hours.
