We are cleaning house and doing laundry only with eco-friendly and biodegradable solutions. Inside, a wood-burning fireplace, state-of-the-art alkaline water purification system, kitchen supplies, gas stove make you feel right at home. Organic garden behind your windows is seasonal supply of fruits, herbs and berries. The spacious (144 sq ft) bedroom is freshly remodeled and upgraded with a comfortable queen size bed, with 100% cotton bed coverings and personal AC/Split system. There is a large closet, bookshelves, and a comfortable laptop-friendly desk. Most of electrical outlets in the room and house have USB ports to charge your phone and laptop. The bathroom is PRIVATE , located next to your bedroom. It has bathtub and shower. Its filled with natural and organic soaps, lotions, shampoo, conditioner safe for grey water system of the house and healthiest alternative . We provide hair dryer , clean cotton towels and wash cloths for each guest. The bedroom comes with a medium size private refrigerator / freezer for you to use. You will have your own silent electric oil heater, wall fans in the room and portable window AC right inside of your bedroom. You will be within a 5-minute walk of Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve and 2 parks, all are excellent places to enjoy a morning / afternoon walk or run. I usually run in the morning to a closest park and would love your company! On the weekends I love to go for hikes in the local mountain trails. Please join me! I am a book lover! There is large English and Russian library in the house. As I am a biologist, I have many scientific books as well. Please use it during you stay! I love to share and to talk about books! Ask me for recommendations. You are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, and garden patio areas too. You are welcome to use all the appliances in the kitchen: microwave, toaster, stove/oven, blender, food processor etc. There is organic coffee, tea, a coffee maker and Turkish coffee press. You will have unlimited and full access to a laundry machine and clothes dryer. I have an iron and ironing board too you could use. Out back, a sunlit picnic table is surrounded by an edible organic flourishing garden. Fresh picked fruits and berries taste awesome! The closest bus #964 station located at the corner of Zapata ave and Camino Ruiz – the bus line goes to UTC and UCSD area. This bus station is in walking distance from the house. Sorrento Valley Coaster/Amtrak Station is just downhill. Please check all trains schedule online. Talk to me prior, to arrange pick up and drop off to that train station. We would be happy to do it for you at no charge. AT&T supplies fast WiFi. My son Kirill and I (Irina) live in the house permanently. We are here to make your stay relaxing and memorable! Guest access During your stay, you'll have full access to a cozy private bedroom located on the second story of the house. The bedroom door has a keypad lock, please use it if you need it. Feel free to also utilize the kitchen with all appliances. You will have your own medium size private refrigerator/freezer next to your bedroom. Additionally, we have a very peaceful and thickly edible forested garden right behind your window, where you can enjoy a cup of tea or a pleasant afternoon lunch in a tranquil environment that will feel like your home away from home. During your stay Your privacy is our top priority. After we guide you through a welcoming tour of the house, we’re here for you—whether by text, phone, or in person—whenever you need us. My garden is set up following the best permaculture and organic traditions. Please ask for a garden tour. I love sharing my experience and mistakes. I will likely feed you herbs and flowers while we walk around. Be prepared! Drop off and pick up from the airport is available too (for an additional fee). We charge regular Uber fee. Please contact me at least a day in advance to make the arrangements. Drop off and pick up from Sorrento Valley train station is free. Its just two miles downhill from the house. Please plan day in advance for arrangements. The house is located next to a great walking, hiking, biking and jogging area: 2 parks and Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. I usually run in the morning. You are welcome to join me. On the weekends I love to go for hikes on the local mountain trails. I would love your company! If you want to bike in that beautiful area, I have two road bikes for rent. They cost $20 per day per bike. If you wish to spend the day at the beach - I have beach towels, chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for rent: $20 for the whole set per day Other things to note There are two actively recording cameras on the property.
