Enjoy Selma in the historic Joe-Ann!
Step back in Joe-Ann, circa1920. Each private apartment has shining hardwood floors, 9’ ceilings and spacious rooms. It’s complete with original artwork, built-in conveniences and woodwork. The kitchen is stocked w/full-size appliances, microwave, coffee maker & almost any pot or pan you want or need. There’s also a full size washer and dryer just for your use. Creaks & spots may be heard or seen but can be expected of a 103 year old dowager? See all available photos for a look inside the apt. One room is set up as an office space and has a copier for added convenience. The unit is set up for all the comforts of home away from home for guests. While cooking for the guest in the unit is allowed, cooking for a party is prohibited. The apartment is private and all space is for the individual guest(s). I'm just an email away to answer any inquiries about the apartment or Selma in general. I was born and raised in Selma and look forward to sharing my love for our town with you. The apartment is in the historic Old Town district within easy walking distance of downtown, Interpretive Center, Pettus Bridge, many churches and library. Two of Selma's most beautiful antebellum homes are within the same block. Off-street parking is available. Selma has no public transportation but this unit is located only 3 blocks from the downtown area and within walking distance of most historic sites, the public library and several restaurants. I can also suggest names of local people that will give tours. VERY IMPORTANT We do allow pets but there are certain restrictions as to breeds and house rules regarding pets. Please make sure to mention in your request to reserve the unit that you have a pet and what breed it is. Must discuss pets before booking, please. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
