South facing room w/vaulted cedar ceilings. Enjoy the comfort of a Queen bed. TV. DVD and Ceiling Fan. You have access to 2 bathrooms, 1 on the upper level and 1 on the lower level w/shower only. We're located in beautiful Rose Valley, where you can enjoy fabulous territorial views, star filled evening skies, the quiet of being in the country, but close enough to enjoy several quality brew houses, Columbia River fishing, Golf, restaurants, theaters, Mcmenamins Kalama Lodge, much more! The space Hosts (Butch & Sheila) are friendly and love the warm, restful atmosphere they've created here. They spend the majority of time in their separate living quarters. Chickens (protected by our rooster) provide fresh eggs and if you desire can be arranged for from hosts. Coffee makers are available for grind enthusiasts. Great tasting well water. Ceiling fans are in every room. Host have a private onsite Cigar lounge and there may be some minor residual cigar aromas detectable. If you're offended by these types of aromas, you should consider staying at another location. Cell coverage for some carriers may not be accessible. We have Verizon. The house is a split level floor plan and does have several short rise stairs that could be challenging for elderly or special needs individuals. Please let us know if you have any concerns about accessing the many available spaces, before booking your reservation. Smoking is allowed outside the house. We want all our guests to have a wonderful stay, so if there's anything we can do to make your stay better, please let us know while you're here. Guest access This is a split level home. Stairs lead into the house main living area and stairs up to the bedrooms above. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, you may find this location a difficult one to navigate. The vast majority of the house is available to all our guests, The AirBnB portion of the house is available to all our guests, We have a total of 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, 1 bath w/shower. The Living Room w/gas fireplace, Dining Room and Kitchen are shared with other guests (occasionally the Hosts as well). Outside you'll find a covered porch area, large open deck with plenty of seating. There's plenty of parking in the front of the house (the rear area perfect if you have a large vehicle to park). We have 2 acres to enjoy, with chickens and a Rooster. Great territorial views from deck and on clear nights, the stars are fabulous! Cell phone coverage is limited here. We use Verizon w/out a problem. Other carriers may not connect. NO LAUNDRY facilities available. We have a local cleaner we recommend. Smoking is allowed outside on the deck and patio. During your stay We want you to enjoy your stay and will do our utmost to be available to you for questions and assistance to what's in our area. When we're not working our regular projects, we occasionally like to have a hosted gathering to meet with our guests and share stories. Of course, if you prefer your privacy we're happy to just be around if you need anything. Other things to note Since we're on the main road in and out of Rose Valley, there is occasional road noise. Lumber trucks travel this road from the forested area beyond our property and at times, could be heard inside the house. We're located across the street from the Rose Valley Elementary school, so there is a SLOW zone as the pass our place during school hours. Cell phone coverage here can be limited depending on your carrier. We have Verizon w/out any issues. Smoking is allowed outside on the deck and covered patio.
