The space The suite is designed in a Scandi style with natural materials and colours to reflect the local setting. The living area is open plan with a small but well equipped kitchenette. I’ve provided basics like tea/coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and cleaning products for your convenience. It is all on one level with radiant underfloor heating making it warm and snug for relaxing in winter. The bedroom is compact and aims to be a sanctuary of maximum comfort, The king size bed has a very comfy mattress and super soft cotton bed linen. The duvet and pillows are anti-allergy. All the blinds are blackout to help you get the best night's sleep. The bathroom has a powerful electric shower with instant hot water with White Company towels, loo roll and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. For those staying a week or more, I provide a change of towels. There is a small patio with table and chairs for alfresco dining. This faces your garden which you can make great use of - it’s a wonderful place for a quiet coffee in the morning or watching the birds. It’s also a good sun trap. ☀️ The workspace is on the table next to the kitchenette with extra plug sockets provided for convenience George Michael, Agatha Christie, Midsummer murders, Bomber Harris are all linked to Goring and you can see the related scenes, sites and houses around and near the villa. Guest access The suite is totally private with its own entrance. The suite opens onto a mature garden which is not overlooked and is for your use to be able to relax outside in nature (we don’t use this part of the garden). The private parking is on the drive at the front of the house which is not visible from the road. There are a two deep steps to access the front door and along the garden path as you walk around the house. The inside of the suite is all on one level. Where-ever you stay in Goring you can hear the faint rumble of trains passing through, however these do not disturb. It is very peaceful and quiet and you can see and hear nature all around. There are a couple of steps to access the property but once inside it is all one level. We have an induction hob which is safer than other types of hob but because of the magnets it uses it may be a problem for certain medical conditions
