This secluded and tranquil getaway is like an Oasis. There’s a beautiful view of the woods below from your French door entrance. Great location for a quiet getaway, 10 min from stadiums, 20 min to downtown Philly, 10 min to airport. A direct train (Septa)to 30th Street Philadelphia is an easy 7 min walk away thru residential neighborhood. Uber arrives usually in less than 5 min. Street and driveway parking available. Completely nonsmoking, nonvaping property, inside/outside. The space Great place for working individuals who need to be close to downtown, airport, grocery stores, and restaurants. We are the second to last house on the street. The street dead ends into the creek and the creek continues behind our house. You'll have complete privacy in your bungalow basement apartment with 5 stairs down to your separate French door entrance in the backyard. The remaining 2 floors above you are rented to airline professionals who are based at the PHL airport who live out of state and are only here before or after trips or while on call. Very well-kept yard and quiet neighbors. You do hear a little pitter patter from floor above but carpet with thick padding minimizes it. There is a private pool behind the woods so you will hear music from special events at night or swim meets. I can take you as a guest as we are members. Just let me know. ($10/person) Almost all appliances are new, and the room has a beachy modern feel. The entire apartment has large ceramic tile. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with great water pressure. Kitchen is equipped with full size gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, apartment size fridge, and separate ice maker. Enough counter space for prepping meals and storage cabinets. There is also a full size LG washer and dryer tower with wifi abilities and plenty of laundry supplies provided. The door at the top of the basement stairs is kept locked from both sides. The apartment is completely private. Excellent Wifi connection, DirectTV, NetFlix, and Amazon Prime. Guest access Only item shared is the patio. It has a shared Weber grill with the other Airbnb apartment next door. There are 2 lounge chairs on the patio and table with 2 chairs for outside eating. It gives a nice, shaded area to relax. Other things to note Street cleaning is on Wednesdays from April 15- Oct 31. We work out pulling in driveway or plan to run an errand if not working from 9am-whenever truck passes by ( between 9:00-10:30 usually). $20 ticket enforced as police car follows behind it. Maximum of one car per unit. If you need to bring 2 cars, other must be parked down the street on the other days.
