Indulge in the beauty of nature. Escape to an off the grid experience in a modern style cabin just a quick 10min drive to the beach in Gimli. The space Minimize your carbon footprint as this cabin is fully powered by solar, has filtered running well water and a composting toilet. This gem located in the middle of a 160 acre property, gives you the feel that you are so far away from the real world even though your 10 mins away from the very vibrant town of Gimli. Our cozy 1bedroom Eco cabin features a full kitchen with a gas stove, high efficiency refrigerator, gas water heater and a wood stove for those chilly nights. There's a breakfast bar inside or you can venture out to a screened in back patio to enjoy your meals protected from the bugs. On the back patio you'll also find a futon and a day bed perfect for lounging or taking a nap surrounded by the sounds of nature. The half bath on the main floor has a composting toilet in keeping with our Eco-friendly theme. Upstairs boast a queen size, a large soaker tub perfect for two, seating/lounge area with two comfy recliners and an additional screened in balcony for those moments to catch up on a good book or enjoy the views with a glass of wine. We want you to get the full experience of unplugging and disconnecting from your everyday distractions so there's no WiFi " just pretend its 1995 and talk to each other :-)" we however have for your entertainment some old DVDs, books and puzzles. There will be two bicycles for your leisure, floating tubes for you to use at the beach and snowshoes for the winter. A remote start backup generator is on the property which can be used in the event that the solar batteries are running low or you need to use the space heater upstairs. Also about halfway up the driveway heading towards the cabin, there's a trail cam and there are also two trail cams deeper in the woods not close to the area surrounding the cabin. Guest access You will have full access to the cabin and the property.
