The Cozy Cottage (three blocks from UO)

This is a small, clean, pretty and private space. It has one new and very comfortable full sized bed and a twin sized Murphy bed.. It has a bathroom and kitchen. The cottage is three blocks from the U of O. Come for games, lectures or music. No need to have a car. Everything is walkable, bike-able with nearby rentals and good public transportation. The space The cottage is about three hundred square feet which includes a bathroom, kitchen and general sitting area. We keep it clean and easy to use. Because of the garden that surrounds the cottage, there can be the occasional spider or sugar ants. These really are just guests from the garden. You will find the cottage is small and well put together. The bathroom has a very heavy curtain as a door to maximize the space. Our garden offers a lot of privacy and a natural barrier to the house. There are windows on all but the east side, so there is a lot of light. In regards to the pandemic and keeping each other safe: I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines I follow the CDC recommendation to have 24 hour minimum between stays Guest access The cottage is behind our house. The parking spot is next to the cottage in Moon Lee Alley. Access to the cottages through the gate right next to the parking spot. It is coded, adding extra protection. This is a safe neighborhood, and it’s always nice to have an extra lock. You are welcome to park on Moss Street. It is zoned, but it’s less limiting than the other street, 19th St. Other things to note If you are going to be here for more than a week, I will come in when it is convenient for you and gather towels and sheets. I will have fresh laundry for you. If you have an extended stay, I will do this weekly. We no longer have coffee machine back there, but I do provide the Starbucks instant Colombian coffee. It’s really quite nice. The space is so limited, and very few people used the coffee machine that we decided to change it up. For all your coffee drinkers, like myself, it’s always nice to know that there’s an option. Finally, we do not accept reservations made for others. This has been complicated.
