Bright and light Kensington townhouse

Located behind the facade of an old wool shed, our light and bright townhouse is only 3km from Melbourne CBD. The property features a light filled open plan kitchen/living/dining, opening up to a balcony with distant views of the city. You'll grab your morning coffee across the road at the local coffee roaster, enjoy walks through nearby Royal Park, and choose from one of many delicious local restaurants in Flemington and Kensington. The space Our home is a two bedroom townhouse. Bedroom 1 features a queen size Koala bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 is used as a study and has a sofa bed which comfortably sleeps 1, and less-comfortably sleeps 2. The bathroom is equipped with free-handle shower, bath, and heat lights. Upstairs, you'll find the open-plan kitchen-dining-living area. Our lime green sofa is a wonderful spot to tuck into a good book or listen to music on the Sonos system. The room surrounds a light-well which gives this room a glorious flood of natural light and sunlight. The living space features widescreen TV, AppleTV, and lots of wonderful cook books. My partner is a chef, so our kitchen is truly fully equiped. It features a dishwasher, Moccamaster coffee machine, Smeg appliances, and all the usual kitchen tools (toaster, kettle, microwave, etc.). Our place has two outdoor areas. The balcony upstairs is a lovely spot for a morning coffee. The vine covered courtyard can either be used as a carport, or pull out the outdoor furniture and use it as an outdoor living space. FYI we have a small dog who lives here. She won’t be here during your stay, but if you’re highly allergic please keep this in mind. Guest access You will have full private access to our home. Please note that this is our primary home. We will make space in our wardrobe for you but the other drawers and cupboards (e.g. the bathroom) will have our belongings in them. If you need ample wardrobe space just let us know and we will make arrangements. Other things to note This is our home, so we appreciate you not smoking inside and not hosting parties. This is a place to relax and make yourself home.
