The cottage required total renovation and took almost a year to get everything perfect. Today it has all the charm and character of a 150 year cottage but with all the modern conveniences and luxuries. With uninterrupted views over the village green, it is perfect for walking, romantic getaways or simply for those just wanting to relax. The space The traditional wooden door leading into the cottage takes you into a cosy living room that hosts an original sandstone fireplace. An electric ‘wood burner’, will keep you warm and snug on cold winter evenings. Relax and unwind on the comfy sofa whilst watching a film on the 43” Smart TV. There is a small selection of popular board games for your leisure time. A small bistro table and chairs nestled under the window, provides a comfortable space to sit and enjoy a meal and a glass of wine with a view of the village green and beyond. The living room leads to the beautiful well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need for self-catering. There is an electric induction hob and oven, a generous sized fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and washing machine. There is an iron and ironing board. Stairs take you up to a first floor carpeted bedroom an impressive high vaulted ceiling with original beams. Carefully chosen lighting together with a luxurious king size bed and high-quality bedding offers a special ambience for relaxing and sleeping. The original fireplace is still in situ. Off the bedroom is a stunning bathroom containing a free-standing roll top bath a fully glazed shower with a waterfall shower head. Carefully considered lighting adds to the luxury and romantic feel of this room. Luxurious towels are provided along with a range of toiletries. The Cottage has its own private garden space comprising a paved patio with bistro table and chairs. Guest access The entire cottage!
