Kick back and relax in this calming, stylish space. Close to Downtown Ferndale, Detroit, Royal Oak and all of the great restaurants and bars this area is known for. This home is in the bungalow layout typical to metro Detroit with 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one of which is a work space. Bathroom, living room and kitchen all tied together with beautiful hardwood floors. An additional living area with tv, electric fireplace, couch and chair is in the basement as well as laundry and storage. The space The Lavender House - Close to both Downtown Detroit and Downtown Ferndale. Quiet, tree lined street with updated kitchen and bath, wood floors - your classic Detroit bungalow. The front yard is an urban garden with tons of fresh lavender, please help yourself to it. Inside you’ll find 1 bedroom with queen bed and smart TV. The second bedroom is a working space with lounge chair, office chair and big desk with monitor and keyboard. There is a baby grand piano I inherited from my uncle who found it abandoned in an old club in Detroit where he was working as a pipe fitter. I keep it covered, but feel free to uncover it and play it. Please be very careful moving it away from the walls and moving it back to its original storage area when you leave :) The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and some assortment of spices. There are extra linens in towels in the linen closet. The basement has a big flat screen tv with fireplace if you feel like you need more room to spread out. Laundry is in the basement. Please turn off lights when not in use. The shop lights above the laundry area use a TON of electricity. If you have any suggestions or questions please let me know :) Guest access One master bedroom with queen bed and a dresser, closet and Firestick Tv. Second bedroom is used as an office with reading chair and desk. Polished hardwood floors throughout the home with a living area upstairs and downstairs for guests to relax. Other things to note Backyard is not fenced in. Garage is not accessible to guests. We provide “starter” toiletries and coffee for your stay, there is a meijer about 2 minutes away on the other side of Woodward/ 8 mile as well as a party store (state fair party store) on Hilton 5 minutes away.
