Welcome to the Off-Grid Retreat on Oromocto Lake! Located on Oromocto Lake, this cozy 2 bedroom cottage is completely off-grid and powered by new solar panels. The cottage is near the end of the lane and surrounded by nature providing privacy and tranquility. There is direct lake access, a man-made beach, and a dock. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, or just relax in this peaceful cottage overlooking the beautiful Oromocto lake. Any questions about the property please feel free to reach out! The space The perfect location for a family vacation, peaceful “work from home” office (high speed Starlink WIFI), or a romantic getaway! The cottage has 2 outdoor decks, one wrap around deck connected to the cottage and one deck landing further down on the beach with unobstructed water views. There is also a screened in covered porch with patio couches, patio chairs, a propane fire table, and a BBQ. Inside the cottage is 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, as well as a loft with a queen bed accessible by stairs. It has an open concept kitchen and dining area, stocked with the basic cooking amenities. There is a stove and a BBQ but please note no oven. There is a keurig machine with pods provided and an espresso machine. Water is well water. Hot water is provided by propane tanks. Starlink WIFI available Guest access The cottage is private and surrounded by trees. You will have access to the entire property and is very private. There are also water floats, a single kayak and an outdoor fire pit that you will have access to during your stay! Other things to note Please Note: * Please keep in mind this cottage is run by solar panels so try to be conservative with power on days of rain/heavy clouds. Extensive upgrades to the solar panels and batteries has been done and you should not have issues, but please be advised there is a slight possibility. * The hot water and stove is run by propane tanks, and there will be spare full tanks available to swap if you run out. The tanks are located outside to the the right (far side) of the cottage and simply need to be turned to open to use. * There’s a generator in the shed if there is an emergency.
