Tropical garden, Queenbed close to airport & city

Comfy, simple and very convenient on a local main road in Brisbane’s Western suburbs. 17Km to city centre, 30Km to Airport. Local shops 05 mins walking. Door steps to Buses directly to city and all over Brisbane. Walk to restaurants and Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre. Short distance to Springfield Water Park, pools, Jindalee DFO, Cinema, Gyms, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Botanic Garden, Mt Coo-Tha and factories. 1-2 hours to Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast. Discount: 10% weekly or 20% monthly. The space This is a simple, basic private room in a private home. NOT a “BnB” or “B&B” or “Bed n Breakfast” accomodation. NO food provided here, but restaurants and takeaways are nearby, and you are welcome to make your own meals. Spacious and convenient inside and outside. Huge, sparkling new kitchen with plenty cupboards. You can use basic cooking utensils (pan, pot, toaster, kettle, cooktop, microwave, AND salt, pepper & cooking oil & NO OVEN, NO DISHWASHER use); plate, bowl, cutleries and mug, washing machine, roofed clothes lines (air drying only, NO machine DRYER), unlimited high speed wifi, and free parking off-site (cross the road uphill or down the corner on Horizon Dr - please check road signs). Downstairs is a sunny backyard with tropical fruit trees and mini rose garden (flood impacted in 2022, still in restoration). Located on a local main road for maximum travel convenience, the room has double glass windows to keep road noise away. If you want to sleep with windows open but also want completely quiet room - do not book this place. Beside beautiful birds, butterflies, possums, bush turkeys and flying foxes visiting the garden, you may occasionally encounter garden cockroaches or tiny German cockroaches inside the house as its in subtropical climate. If you have phobia of them, please DO NOT book. Guest access You'll have the master bedroom (02 people max, no children under 3yo) in a 03 bedroom home, upstairs. Provided with Queen bed, spring mattress (firm), seasonal fluffy blankets or quilts and a desk with shelves / or a mini height-adjustable bedside computer desk in the room for your convenience. The room has double glass windows to block road noise, high quality reverse aircon and a Mrs&Mrs built-in wardrobe. Shared bathroom, 02 toilets, kitchen and fridge/freezer with potentially 2-3 guests from other 02 rooms upstairs. Please note: downstairs are long term residents with different arrangement, separate from upstairs, working and/or studying full time. Please respect our quiet hours 10pm-6am. You have also access to downstairs patio, backyard, free washing machine and clotheslines or clothe racks downstairs. Free street parking cross the road uphill (do NOT park on the house side) or down the corner on Horizon Drive 5 minutes walking away. Your kitchen cupboard is marked with “QueenBed /Room 2.2” containing eating utensils. Your fridge shelve is marked “Queen Bed” in the fridge. If you cook: shared cooking utensils & cutting boards are in the top 2 drawers near kitchen window. All kitchen stuff on kitchen bench is for guest use. All eating/ cooking utensils are to be hand washed right after use, dried with the tea towel provided, and returned to where they were. Please do not leave any utensils at the sink or at shared areas. Kitchen bin is under sink. If you use kitchen bin: please empty the bin after use, replace the liner with bags on top of the bin. Please take your rubbish to wheelie bins in front yard. Shampoo, soap bar & hair dryer provided in shower room. If you bring in your personal cleaning products, please take them back to your room after use. There are spare mugs in the 3rd drawers near kitchen window. Please take 1 to keep your toothbrush+toothpaste, if you like, and bring them into your room. Please do not leave personal stuff or food in shared areas. During your stay I’m available on phone or email when not in person. Other things to note Please remove your shoes/ outdoor footwear before walking upstairs. You can leave them at the shoe rack or take them to your room. There are thongs provided at shoe rack for inside the house. NO smoking inside – you can smoke in the garden or at the balcony. You can have NO visitors between 10pm-6am, and please keep quiet during this period. P.S. Rose garden and aquatic pond were impacted by floods earlier this years. We are restoring these. Pool table downstairs and sofa in the lounge have been removed. If you want a completely quiet place - do not book.
