32 m² cottage on the edge of the Bois des Bras, not far from our house on a small residential road, in a limestone environment of rocks and holm oaks. A living room with a sofa bed and a sofa, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small attic bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a terrace. Located 40 minutes from the Chauvet cave, 5 minutes by car from the beach and the Château de Vogüe, located 15 minutes walk from the Ardèche. Very good location to travel in South Ardèche. Great value for money. Healthy and natural materials: local wood frame and parquet, traditional lime plaster on insulated bricks, solid wood kitchen and furniture. Use of renewable energy and energy savings: heat pump, solar panels, solar input through 4 bay windows in winter, shaded bay windows in summer, adjustable heater. Water purification by phyto-purification. The cottage is built on a limestone terrace: the trees were respected during construction and form a cocoon around the building. - To maintain attractive prices, we do not provide linens. You will need to bring your sheets, towels, tea towels, bath mats. (on site 140 bed, 80 bed, 160 trundle sofa bed or separable into 2x80, a two-seater bolster, 3 rectangular pillows). - At certain times, we can offer you a rental of sheets (€20 double sheets + towels, €12 single sheets + towels, bath mats and tea towels included). Please ask us in advance, as this service is not always available. - The staircase to go up to the bedroom is a little steep (attic room on the mezzanine). Not recommended for the elderly or those with limited mobility - Gite not suitable for babies and young children (or under supervision: rocks, stairs, terrace 80 cm high without railing...) - The cottage sleeps five, but you will be more comfortable with two or three people. - Cleaning is done by a professional housekeeper between each stay New in January 2025: - Installation of roller shutters on the west, east and south bays (wooden shutter to the north) - New, cozier lighting in the bedroom and living room - Installation of mosquito nets for an insect-free stay. - Installation of a heat pump for heating.
